Our lovely Lake Badersee and the adjacent mountain forest should remain a paradize for all plants and animals.

WHAT WE ALREADY DO:

 

  • Opening a bee meadow (coming in 2024)
  • We refrain from fireworks to keep the fine dust levels in our area low and to preserve our natural environment.
  • We do not use pesticides or herbicides on our property.
  • We take care to enforce the swimming ban on the protected Lake Badersee.
  • We work with the forestry office to keep the forest healthy.
  • 'Keep our mountains clean': Note on sustainable behaviour in the Alps for our hotel guests. Our Badersee Blog helps raise awareness for safe and sustainable behaviour on alpine tours as well.

Sustainable practices are indispensable for the future of the travel industry. In our fantastic location, surrounded by the alpine meadows, vast forests and the high peaks of the German Alps, we have developed a special relationship with nature and the environment.

We live amidst this nature and we spend a lot of time in the mountains at any season. Therefore, it is crucial for us as a local enterprise to contribute to the preservation of our environment and resources. What is good for the environment is also good for our business! We do our best to take care of the environment and treat the resources at our disposal with care.
